Arborsteel, which claims to be the ultimate digital identity citadel, has raised £200,000 in pre-seed funding, following the launch of its platform to market.
With the capital, the company is looking to build revenues at pace, beginning with professional and financial services firms for personal use of as a member of a charity, board or trust.
Arborsteel was founded by Edward Goodchild after years of client frustration when sharing personal information to verify their identity, often over insecure, unencrypted emails. Goodchild saw a need for a solution that enables individuals to control how their data is stored and used.
The platform combines identity verification and authentication, secure messaging and data storage in a single platform.
